Currently serving as Professor of Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Dr. Maqsood has held various leadership roles at UET, including Jalozai Campus Director/Coordinator and Chairman of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Jalozai Campus. His notable contributions extend to serving as the Chief Editor of the Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences (JEAS) and as the BOASAR (Postgraduate) Advisor for Manufacturing Systems. Beyond his administrative roles, Dr. Maqsood has demonstrated excellence in securing multiple funds for cutting-edge research labs and adeptly overseeing diverse industrial projects.
